RITUALS book is now available.

I'm excited and gratified to announce the availability of the catalog for the Rituals exhibit, which is opening this month at the International Quilt Festival, Long Beach, CA., and later to be shown at the IQF in Houston.  Leslie Tucker Jenison and Jamie Fingal (Dinner @ Eight Artists) have once more curated a beautiful exhibit, and Loris Bogue has edited the creation of the book.

Here's a picture of the book cover:

You can order the book here.

  1. The art on the cover looks amazing. Tell me more about your book and why that title?

    1. Hi Suzy, thanks for your Comment. The book is actually a catalog of the fiber art created for an invitational exhibit entitled "Rituals". Each art-quilt is 24" x 60" (vertical orientation) and was to be created by each artist to that theme. See the original blog post (with a detail of my art-quilt) which gives the parameters of the Rituals"
      submissions.

I chose "Kissing the Cat Goodnight" as my Ritual to portray, as shown in this earlier blog post:

You can actually preview the book on-line before buying it, via the link under the image above.

      Thanks for visiting my blog!

  2. I previewed the book and left a comment. It is posted on my Facebook page so others can hopefully click on it and see it too. The Kissing Cat is my favorite (yes honestly, next is the I see the Moon).
